Fall colors

I had been wanting to take a drive up to the mountains to see the trees changing color for weeks and I was missing my window. We were finally able to go take a drive and have a picnic but we didn't have a whole lot of time to go too far, so we were trying to decide the best way to go. We decided to drive up the poudre canyon and found a really nice spot for a picnic - but it was not really the best drive to see the fall colors. Here's a little tip - if you want to see beautiful fall leaves - don't drive in the burn area from the fire last year :) haha!! Not very smart of us, but it was still a lot of fun and we found a spot that we want to go to again and again :)
