Splash Park Birthday Party

A good friend had a birthday party at a splash park and the kids had a blast. In addition to the cool party, the Blue Angels happen to be putting on an air show close by so we got to see all kinds of cool tricks and see the jets take off and land!

Bike ride

While Bradley was in a baseball camp one morning we decided to get outside and go for a bike ride at a nature area near by. It was a lot of fun, but a long way for Sammie to ride her little trike - I think she was a little tired :)

Garden 2015

Kevin keeps asking me if I really want to do another garden because I haven't had much luck lately. My excuse last year was that I had a brand new baby and didn't feel like watering, so I thought I didn't really have an excuse this year and I really want to start getting the kids more into it with me, helping me water and weed. They like watering, but we all have issues with weeding. If I don't get on the weeds right away when there are barely any in there, then I get too scared of spiders and other bugs hiding under leaves. I feel like the second I reach in there to pull a weed they are going to jump on my hand and bite me :)  SO - I did OK with watering, but unfortunately the weeds got away from me and it was almost a total loss again :( I did get my pretty sunflowers this year though :)

Last days

Yay!! Last day!! I hate the hot days of summer, but having my kids home with me all day everyday trumps anything else and makes me look forward to summer all year long!! They are growing WAY too fast!!!

Kite Festival

Enjoying the kite festival. It's always hard to find a spot big enough to fly a kite without too many people close by and tangling lines. It's cool seeing all the kites in the air but it makes me want to go fly a kite by ourselves :) We did win a free kite this year, so that was cool :)
