New Potty

So we're almost ready to start the potting training :) Bradley seems interested, he sure talks about pee-pee and poo-poo all the time :) He was looking through a BABY magazine the other day and there was a picture of a naked baby and he brings it over to me and points to the bottom and says "poo-poo" :) Yep, that's where she goes poo-poo :) So Mammy bought him a new potty and he loves it so far - he loves to tell us all about what you do on the potty but we haven't actually tried yet - but at least I know that he understands. We're getting closer :) He sits on the potty and says "pee-pee, poo-poo - NAKED" :) I love the hand motion :) Oh, and this was the day he started singing "Happy and you know it" out of no where, that's why that was thrown in there :)

Naked!!

I LOVE this video! He is hilarious - in case you can't hear him - every time he opens it he's screaming "NAKED!" Where DOES he get these things? Makes me wonder what Kevin does at home in the morning when I'm gone :) hehe

Cuddling on the couch

I can't seem to get too many pictures of the two of them together - I just LOVE seeing how much Bradley loves her already, he is so sweet. Every time I come home from work he runs up to me to give me a hug and kiss and then tells me right away "Hi Baby" and brings me over to Gracie to make sure I say hi to her right away. Sometimes when she's hanging out on her play mat or the couch he'll go over and lay next to her and put his arm around her and just lay there for the longest time. If she's laying there and starts fussing he comes and tells me "Baby Eat" because he thinks that she's hungry (which she usually is :) ) He is always looking out for her. He'll hold her hand in the car when we're driving and he can't seem to walk past her without leaning down, hugging her, rubbing her head and saying "Hi Gracie" And she loves him right back, she'll watch him so intensely and smile at him, she is very entertained by him (just like the rest of us). How is it possible to love SO much!?!?!

Nice Day

Mindy had work off and the kids were on Spring Break and it was the first nice day in a while when we were all available - so we decided to go out for a walk,meet Tammy for a picnicand go to the park. It was so much fun, the kids had a blast together. I remember Mindy saying at one point when Drew and Katie were jumping off swings "Be careful, I don't want anymore broken bones!" And what do you know, after we left the park and they went home Drew was playing in the backyard, fell and broke BOTH of his wrists (both bones in the left and one in the right) POOR GUY! I guess he wasn't listening when Mindy said no broken bones :)

It's not hard to get photos of Gracie smiling - it happens all day long...

Holding

Random times throughout the day Bradley will come up to me with his arms out stretched and say "hold-eh?" (I prefer to think that he's just trying to say 'hold' instead of 'hold IT' like it sounds - since he is referring to Baby Gracie) :)

Eating

There's something about Bradley sitting down at the table (coffee table :) ) on his little chair eating his little sandwich and drinking his sippy cup of milk that I just love! MAYBE it's partly because so many meals are such a struggle with him lately... that might have something to do with it -seeing him eating on his own just seems like such a grown-up decision, that he's actually making the choice to eat :) I have told him several times he'd better watch out or Gracie's going to pass him up in no time!
