Easter Baskets

Last year we started the tradition of having them draw a picture for the Easter Bunny, then we put it on their Easter basket and I love seeing how all of them are so different :) I just love watching their excitement with the baskets :)

Crib

So at 10 months I finally moved my baby boy out of my room - into his crib... out of my room. Every single time I've had to do this I get sad, but yes - with him being my last baby, it was even worse this time. And I put it off as long as I could. The crib, and the room was sitting there empty for months - with three children crammed in the room next door, and me, Kevin, and Kolby crammed into our room - it just did not make sense. Kevin kept asking me, "Sooo... when are we moving him into the crib again?" hint, hint... And I'd say, "Yes, I know... I'm mentally and emotionally preparing myself, and that takes a while" Kolby was not sleeping well in our room, he was in the pack-n-play which he liked much better than being crammed in the bassinet, but I knew that he would start sleeping better in the crib. But I love having my babies right next to my bed, not only is it super easy to wake up, reach over and grab them and feed them in bed in the middle of the night, but anytime I turn over or wake up - it's nice being able to look over at them sleeping so peacefully. But he was 10 months old, and it was time. And he loved his crib right away. Starting sleeping better right away and always seemed comfortable. Maybe he knew that it was hard on me and was trying to show me how much he liked it so I would feel better :) haha :)

Easter at Preschool

I have officially decided to skip all public Easter egg hunts from here on out - except for our preschool one :) It's never crowded and everyone brings filled eggs a week before hand so there's no shortage of eggs, there are usually many many left over. People run and get there dozen eggs and then go inside and we sit out on the lawn and open them up. Kolby was so funny when we put him on the grass, he thought it was so weird and held his foot up off the grass for the longest time :)
