Cake Smash for Caleb

We had been trying to figure out a good time for weeks to do Caleb's cake smash session and what do you know we make a date and the poor guy has a tummy bug. Anything that came near his mouth made him start gagging :( poor thing. Luckily he didn't seem to interested in eating the cake anyway :) just playing with it a little bit. Sweet boy, I can't believe he's already a year, it seems like a few months ago I was taking his newborn pictures :)

Old Man

I've been taking a lot of pictures of Snickers lately. Last month he turned 14. A few months before Christmas he actually started to show his age. I think he has doggie demensia. Sometimes he will get that far off look in his eyes like Carmel did after he had a seizure and was so confused. And his balance is pretty much gone, which is so much harder on the poor 3 legged guy! He is constantly falling to the right wherever he goes. We have to help him across the kitchen floor, and up and down stairs. But I think he still seems happy. Even though it's hard for him he still wants to come upstairs to sleep with everyone else, or be downstairs when everyone else is. He still has a very good appetite even though he has lost a lot of weight. He never moans or whines and will still wag his tail and try to play with Kevin and Nestle every once in a while. He is just the sweetest dog and I'm thankful for everyday we have him here with us.

Park

Tammy and the kids were in town shopping with Mom and decided to go to the park so we met them there. Truthfully, it was not a fun time for me - but the kids loved it. The park is stressful for me when there are tons of kids running around and people all over the place I am constantly - "1,2,3,4... 1,2,3,4..... 1,2,3...(tiny moment of panic rising in my heart) 4! whew! I would rather an older, smaller park that is not crowded and I can spot all my children from one spot :)
