I can't believe he is so old - that means that Bradley is right behind him! That can't be!! It was a great birthday party - wait that's not a party hat... I loved when he was opening presents and whenever someone would take a picture (every 30 seconds) he would have to stop what he was doing and go look at the picture :)
He is so sweet with Bradley,
even though they are definitely starting their love/hate relationship while trying to figure out exactly how to share toys :)
to be expected, and both of them need the practice anyway with siblings on the way...

Goodbye Bike :(
After much discussion, we decided that it was finally time to sell Kevin's beloved motorcycle. Unfortunately, we really needed the money, and Kevin doesn't get many chances to ride the bike anymore, so we thought it would be a smart move right now financially. I cried :( I am pregnant you know. It was just really sad, Kevin has had that bike for 10 years, he proposed to me on that bike. I kept telling Kevin the whole way "Don't do it if you're going to regret it, it's not worth it, we'll figure something else out", but he just kept reassuring me that he'd be sad for a while, but he'd get over it. I hate to see him sad. We took lots of pictures and said goodbye. I think it was the right decision, lately there have been so many motorcycle accidents in town that I would have been nervous if he rode it around anyway. But it was sad to say goodbye... lots of good memories on that bike...

Just being silly Mr B...
Seriously I could just sit there and watch him for hours and hours, he is SO entertaining! He has the sweetest personality too. In the first video he was just sitting there, playing with his toys - a wolf, his bat, and - I know it looks bad - a medicine bottle! Don't worry, we only let him play with it under supervision, it's child proof, and it has skittles in it to make it rattle, which I know could be dangerous (hence the supervision) but he just loves it, and he seems to like to use it as a cup, pretending to drink out of it. It's so cute because he sits his wolf up really nice, gives it kisses, gives it a drink, then I think he realized I was watching, but doesn't want me to see him checking, so he looks over at me in the sneakiest way- it's just adorable :)
And then this video is just a very long story that he was trying to tell me, I'm sure it has to do with baseball - people throwing the ball, lots of swinging. He really tries to get his point across, he's so animated! :) (FYI - this was back in August - now we are able to understand a lot more of his stories :) )

Daddy's Shirt
Bradley was helping me fold laundry and we decided to put one of Daddy's shirts on him, which lead to quite a long time playing "where's my hand?" :)

Saunder's 1st Birthday!
One of Bradley's best friends turned 1 and we had a blast at his birthday party. Pony rides, tractor rides - it was so much fun!! Truthfully, no matter what we do with Grady, JK and Saunder we have fun! :)

Kerr State Park
Our friends Grady and JK wanting to go camping one weekend and we suggested a great place nearby - Kerr State Park :) In years past we had camped out in the backyard in tents but hadn't done it yet this year, so it was perfect timing. They brought over their (massive) tent and we camped out,
smores and all :)
I knew it would be interesting to see how Mr B would go to sleep - the tent was making so many crinkling noises when we moved around and tried to put him down and he just wasn't going for it, so he ended up sleeping in the comfort of his own crib inside, while all of us were outside, we just brought the monitor out with us - which Kevin was happy about because he has problems sleeping without his fan so that was the substitute noise that night :) It was a lot of fun!
