Baseball for 2

Gracie's turn to join Bradley in the world of baseball! She looked adorable and was so much fun to watch. Definitely not as into it as Bradley :) but she did a good job of listening to her coaches and learning what to do. During one of the games she was playing first and a grounder came to her and she just picked it up in her glove and went right to first base and got an out! I think the whole team only got about 3 outs the whole season so it was a big deal :)

Sammie's turn for school :)

Sammie started preschool!! At church she was having a hard time being left in her class and would cry and cry and we'd have to come get her. So I kind of stopped trying because it just stressed me out. So during the summer I decided that I should probably put her in a class to try to get her used to being left. And I found a class that both she and Gracie could take together so I figured being with her sister would soften the blow and maybe she wouldn't be so upset. It didn't seem to work at the time because she cried and cried when I left and the teacher had to pry her off of me and tell me to go. Turns out she didn't cry very long but I was still worried about how she would act with preschool. So I signed up to be parent helper on the first day of school because I thought it would ease her into it if I was there the first day. I think it worked - that and already knowing the building from picking up and dropping off Gracie there for the last couple years. She loved preschool from the very first day!

Walker - not really

Kolby was over 14 months old and still not really wanting to walk (which really was totally fine with me) so we gave him the walker toy to see if that would get him going :) He thought it was a climbing toy and kept trying to climb up on it. He very quickly got frustrated and was very angry with the toy because it was not working like he pictured :) It took him a while to figure out how to use it :)

Day o' Fun

We decided to head up to Estes Park for a fun surprise :) We went trampoline jumping, go karting, ate some yummy food, then went on the tram to the top of the mountain and fed some chipmunks :)

Gracie was her brave little self and was all for it right away and wanted to go as high as possible - no worries for this girl!

Bradley was his cautious little self :) and was very worried, he was going about half as high as Gracie and you should have heard his screams :) I think he thought he was 100 ft off the ground :) Sweet boy :)

And Sammie was just as carefree as her older sister, that little tiny body was flying so high and she was just loving it!

It took a while but we finally got some chipmunks to come eat some peanuts out of our hands - the kids loved it!

Sammie tried for a little bit but she was just too excited and moving too much so they never got too close to her, she gave up and decided to eat her own peanuts :)

Time Capsule

Ten years ago a bunch of the family put stuff in a time capsule and buried it out at Grandma's. This was the year to dig it up. I wasn't actually there when they buried it but Kevin and I both put in letters to each other. I predicted that we would have 4 kids which was pretty cool :) I just love going to Grandma's and I try to soak it all in and take a million pictures every time.

Grandma and Gracie discussing her new favorite best friend - the orange kitty :) She was asking the kitties name and Grandma said she didn't have one, so they came up with one together and named her Prairie :) Gracie just would not put her down the whole time we were there, and has talked about her many many times since we left :)
